Adults

Samaritans – 116 123 (24-hour free service).

The Mix varied support (including mental health) for under-25s, includes 1-2-1 chat, crisis messenger or freephone 0808 808 4994.

Bristol Mind Mindline Helpline – 0808 808 0330 (Freephone 7 pm to 11 pm Wednesday to Sunday) and for information on a variety of other resources.

Papyrus – suicide prevention support (young people under 35), free ‘hopeline’: 0800 068 4141 available 9am to midnight, 7 days a week. Text chat 07860 039967.

Talk Club

Children and Young People

It can often be helpful to speak to an adult that you trust (parent/carer, someone at school/college, or make an appointment with your GP) about your worries or feelings, so they can think with you about how to help.

Professionals who work with vulnerable adults, families and young people will often be dealing with complex situations where emotional and mental health issues are involved. We can support you to reflect on challenging or difficult issues through our supervision services.
